Upon my first visit to a 'proper' Apple store before Christmas, I
chanced upon a copy of a X-Plane 8 scenery pack of the UK.At a price of
20UKP, I didnt buy it.
I have X-plane 8, but to my shame, I have never got round to trying it,
I know it is installed, and I tried flying with the mouse once, but
never took the time to go upstairs to the bedroom cupboard to fetch the
joystick.
To my defence, it would take me at least a minute to walk up there and
fetch it, and I have seen it in the last few days, when I got clean
sheets out of that cupboard, but the effort seems so much to get that
joystick down.
Anyway, to get me off my arse down here, and get that joystick working,
I've decided that I need an incentive to make the effort to walk up the
stairs and back down again, and a scenery pack of the UK could be just
such a catalyst.
I could just sit on my arse here, order it online, and the local postman
will push it through my door. There is the downside of getting off my
arse to go to the front door, but new scenery could help my motivation.
So, my query:
Is the X-plane scenery worth buying?

My entire life could change with this decision,it could mean a new
lifetime of exercise.
Thanks
Alan.

Gee. Finally I've found someone possibly lazier than myself. I think I will
take a celebratory nap.
